Flavours and Fragrances

is the second area of competence in our group of companies.

In 1999, Ralf Browatzki, the founder of AMB, was a Senior Executive Search Consultant for the TMP Group (who later became Monster.com.) While in his role at the TMP Group, he placed a Perfumer and a Sales Manager in a medium sized German fragrance company.

In 2000, Ralf Browatzki founded AMB in Hamburg, Germany. The fragrance house followed him as a customer, and for many years since, AMB has placed nearly all senior executives and hard-to-find experts for this fragrance house exclusively. With each assignment, Ralph’s understanding of the Fragrance and Flavour industry grew, as did AMB’s network within the industry.

All over the world, more and more clients have been acquired by AMB, and AMB has taken industry experts on board as consultants. Today, AMB has six consultants and one researcher with a focus on the Fragrance and Flavour industry.
They are located in:
         Hamburg, Kreuzlingen/CH, Rotterdam, Limassol, New York and Singapore.

AMB typically fills positions where extreme discretion and sensitivity are critical factors; seeking out senior industry experts or hard to find experts with very rare and specific skills, languages or other very unique parameters.

AMB sources with advanced headhunting methods. For each assignment we define and agree a specific search strategy with our clients. During the project we keep out customer informed and updated. We avoid “black-box” consultancy.

Over the years we have developed a very large network within the industry. Many in the field send AMB their CV (resumé,) even when they are not actively seeking employment. This provides us with good sources and candidates for out projects.AMB is continuing to grow and our plan is for our network of clients, consultants and researchers to spread into new regions.
